    I don't want to comment on the audi happenings, but Misha you are the most honest and good person I know especially in terms of beiing someone that is situated in public with big range. If everyone would be a bit more like you, world would be a better place. :-) I know big words, but some kind I felt by following your videos. Your just totally in calm, even if there was a hard day and an email not as expected. Besides sorry for my english. ;-)

    The whole E-Mail context does make the reaction of this 1 person from Audi actually look worse. However, when people are involved, shit happens. That's life. Next time, someone screws up at Ford when Fabio is on vacation, ill or whatever.

    If Audi was smart they coulda used this to their advantage. This could have been PR/Marketing GOLD. They could have sent out a camera crew. And produced a well put together commercial of the RS6 racing the Nurburgring and juxtapose it to being used off-road in a ravished land helping people in need. “AudiTogether” “Quattro” “Born On The Track, Built For The Road” “#TogetherWithAudi” “Best Decisions Never Came This Easy” lol. They could have milked this. Plus this is in their native land. What a bunch of imbeciles

    I get what your saying Misha but when you work in PR and for a brand as big and influential as Audi this type of thing is your bread and butter. It wouldn’t have taken a rocket scientist to turn this into a massive Pr boost for Audi but instead they dropped the ball massively. The stage was set for them to do so and they failed to show up.

    Dear Misha, I am a car enthusiast and I am not really a brand basher, yours was an honest response to this email blunder. The message the public gets from the PR department to convey the company slogan: - If Audi's is Forwards With Technology, on the day the email was sent out the thoughts were "I am not currently human just a corporate clot, thinking of legality, not humanitarian aid". The VW group can be very faceless at times. Hopefully, Audi can actually be humble and humanitarian & auction more than one vehicle off. Regards Philip Cupid in Zug Switzerland

    I think the email was a bit lost in translation. Email SHOULD have said as long as you give us the car in perfectly working order as per the contract, we don't care what you do with it. However, we did see your vids and loved what you did with it.

    Willkommen in der Welt der "Influenzer" - das ganze Probleme entsteht dort, wo PR auf das Spannungsfeld von Influenzern und Journalisten trifft.     Bedankt voor meer achtergrond informatie Misha. Feit blijft dat in deze omstandigheid een PR persoon van AUDI zich heel druk heeft gemaakt om 1 auto die nuttig ingezet werd in een noodsituatie, hier mee laat een groot bedrijf zich kennen ondanks ook hun noodfonds ten bate van het rampgebied. Heeft AUDi al een officieel excuus naar buiten gebracht voor hun domme gedrag?

    I don’t think the email was that unfair. I would have just replied ‘many thanks, car will of course be returned in flawless condition’ which you guys have done. Maybe if the Audi PR guy added some more positive emotion to his email then the ‘flawless comment’ might not have been perceived as a potential negative. I just think the PR guys email was very professional and corporate to and extent, a more informal approach could have prevented all of this. No biggy though.

    Can't help myself on 2 facts: Employees allowing you to test an expensive car, sometimes act as billionaires owning that car, so better keep your fingers off the dash, not to leave your greasy fingerprint marks on "their asset". If you do not show up in a 7-series or S-Class, you-re most of the times valued as a poor beggar honored to spend rich’s men time in luxury cars. Totally wrong way to evaluate a person. Especially one like Misha.

    AUDI has definitely missed an opportunity here, to show unity with the people. On top of that, the way the e-mail is written, they truly opened the channel for a shit storm and it does also leave some bad feelings associated to the Audi Brand with me. Misha, great video. Respect for leaving out personal feelings and bad emotions while providing transparency about this situation.

    Looks like a short email response, where the other side has no time or interest in helping out. I mean, he/she could have written something like "please return the RS6 like its written in the contract, but i will check if there is any possibility of..." and so on. OK, can happen, but at his side, I would call you some days later and apologise for maybe misunderstanding that email (IMO there's not much space for interpretation^^) and finding a solution. Maybe he's pi**** about that Ford move (well done Ford), who knows. And OF COURSE Audi raised funds for that catastrophe (everything else would be bad PR), but cmon... their employees should spend and they raise it by not even a million... Look at BMW, VW, Ford... All these little things in combination give audi in my view a bad name. When talking about the Flood with friends I told them about your support and help there and that you drive them in a RS6 to the villages and explained what Ford does... everyone was pleasently surprised and a bit proud ("its Audi/Ford, what do you expect")... and then I told them some days later about that email... ("how stupid can they be" was one quote) You did the best out of it Misha! Maybe there will be a response or maybe not. I like the quote "A muddy RS6 is a happy RS6" :D

    Thank you for clearing that issue up Misha. I didn’t comment on the video in question, being aware that emotions were running high and exacerbated by exhaustion. Glad that you still have an amiable relationship with Audi and that they are behind the flood support effort. Your transparency and honesty is exemplary and admirable.

    Turned into a bit of a PR disaster for Audi and in my opinion rightfully so. I agree they could of used the car as a way to perhaps raise awareness/ money for relief effort. They don’t need to but would of helped with their PR and marketing. At the end of the day this car will probably end up being written off as a business expense by Audi anyway. Also Porsche have donated 20 mil to the relief effort where as Audi will only top up employee donations to six figures which depending on the generosity of the employees will become less and less of a commitment. I’m sure there are many wonderful people who work for Audi however.. a brands reputation relies on the people that represent it to the public and in this case Audi have been left lacking.

    Thanks Misha for the explanation. Audi somehow reacted insensitively and without heart in this email. You did the right thing under such extraordinary circumstances and Audi should apologise. Hugely embarrassing to hear from a huge german brand how it reacted to the use of your RS6 during such catastrophic event...

    Ich kann mir halt vorstellen dass der Audi Mitarbeiter das überhaupt nicht böse gemeint hat. Vielleicht war es einfach nur eine unglückliche Wortwahl ggf auch durch nicht perfekte Englischkenntnisse.. aber wer weiß. Alles in Allem den Trubel nicht Wert.

    If AUDI had played this right they would have gotten more than the price of a RS6 plus some. Mix the footage of helping people after the flood with Tom K winning Le Mans 9 times in a AUDI, families going on holiday, the UP, E-Tron etc etc, that says something about the brand and scope. Instead we get someone that wants the RS6 returned in "flawless condition" after being driven to a disaster zone. Yes, it is just one person, but he is part of the culture where he works.
