castle looking righteous this one
Looks like a nice manifold 👍🏼 I've had to repair mine several times 🙄
I want to see more of that Volvo. Please do a lap with it once you have strongarmed the owner :)
Misha, do you have range anxiety with EV due to the way you drive? Or charging station in Germany are frequent enough to not worry about that? I personally think battery technology still can be improve, so are charging station infrastructure... but I agree all current EVs have its' limitation, they're more of a city-car.
5:08 *Yaay, thats me racing M3 E92 on the nordschleife* 👋😄 #simracing 💪🏻
That just shows that Tesla is without any real competition still 😄
Starlet with subaru td04L turbo... Peppy setup! Me likey
🔥🔥
So, you made about every beginner's mistake there is to be made when using the etron? Well done Micha. Is the Audi press fleet department that good at explaining you what to do? 1 charge at night when the car is stationary anyway. You will also use more of the excess wind power. 2 if you use the emergency charge cable, don't reduce charge current. 1.2kW? Seriously? Our normal wallplugs get you at least 2.3kW. 3 you have quick charging available at Apex, the socket is visible in every other shop video. Drehstromsteckdose guys. Requires a fancy cable but gets you at least 11kW. 4 don't charge to 100% when DC fastcharging. stop somewhere between 70 and 80%. Maybe watch a bit of nextmove or Björn Nyland or similar here on YT to get up to speed with the basics. Might be worth it.
LOL at using diesels to pick up the charged car. Good stuff!
For several vlogs, I’ve felt you are using the e-tron to hide the GR from street view...
E... No thanks
again a 850 in your video, nice job
FOSSILFUELSAREYUMMY !!!
Misha & George can host Apex Top Gear! Great vibes.
Misha, there's a difficult, long run into the mountains where I was living. Watched a Tesla pass me...maximum 300km range until a regular plugin. They were still parked, waiting as we filled up, and left (Audi RS5) for home. Erhhmm, I love Audi, always will...but it relates to your BMW 'disconnect' video....does Audi not see what they are doing?
Full charge before trips. Drive a Tesla. All problems resolved. Audi NOT for trips.
I like how Audi gets only slav accents commands. They know where they gonna end 10, 15 years from now.
Well the charging is most effiecienty between 20-80 percent SOC. Meaning with around ~ 30 minutes of charging you can get 150km of effective range. Which I think for daily commuting is perfectly fine. That being said on the short clip I saw you charging the Etron Im pretty sure you didnt get the full charging power the audi can achieve. Afaik it should get up to 150Kw/h instead of only 70.
So why did you not charge the Audi overnight, on a normal plug it could have charged sufficiently 🤷 Good job on making one of the fastest charging EV's look bad, but you said it yourself, bad preperation. For 90% of people and driving, EV's are perfectly suitable.
by now "something bothers George about Wiechers" = "we're not sponsored/partners so we won't use them anymore." A bit like the whole Audi stuff.
@TwistedSymmetryUK easier said than done... There's a big gap between a 1500 multipoint bolt in and a 5000 welded in. Plus paint.
@vipecrx Then dont have a cage and wait til you can afford a decent one 🤷🏽♂️ rather wait and spend more when i can afford it than have a shitty cage that might work when you need it. But anyway good chat i really need to get on with work now 🤣
@TwistedSymmetryUK well, yeah. But it does for most. Most would love to have a "proper" cage. Few can afford it.
@vipecrx I friend of mine had a bolt in in hes 46 from Nickson and it was very good. My argument is if a custom cage manufacturer can make it tight and then produce the same cage over and over from the measurments they have why cant a huge company? Price doesnt even come into it for me when it comes to safety. Dont mention the B word lol
@TwistedSymmetryUK yeah, Cs ones are more like harness bars... Didn't even know nicks on did bolt on. There's not much on their website. A lot of custom manufacturers could make bolt ins tight to the body. But we're comparing mass production to custom-ish products now. Price also makes a difference so would have to factor that in too. Even more so now with brexit.
Misha ziet Volvo, sweet memories! Komt goed!
Why no helmet storage shelving in Apex reception?
Hi! It seems that if you drive an e-trone you have a great chance to gain weight!
So... my headphones need charge, my cellphone needs charge, my iPad needs charge, my keyboard and mouse need charge and now my car Great!
I have a vehicle that can travel long distances, it sometimes needs to refuel like after 6 hours of driving, but it can refuel in a couple minutes, it's amazing! I have a feeling this amazing technology will catch on.
Did you blow the intake welds street racing? A little LCD screen showed the warning??
Get George some morning caffeine before you put him on the spot like that! LOL! As always, great video Misha!
Dang not morning, but good morning anyway, Carmrades
if U knew what i know about McDo U would Never Ever eat there again !
great feel crusin with Misha and George those EV's not yet
Question is...... will apex be getting a charging point?
bro ... you need to rest.
3:46 screw tesla's charge compartment, the Audi's mighty secret compartment rules
Roberts comment was very funny 😂👍
Imagine how worthless the current generation of 'slow' charging vehicles will be when the next generation of fast charge solid state battery powered cars hits the market.
Motor swaps incoming...
No food shot so I expect at least 2 of them in the next vid
Electric cars are just not there yet. Worst are those plug in hybrids, you waste so much time plugging those cars in. In longer trips your fuel consumption is ruined. Even local trips the cost of charging in my country is similar cost to an efficient diesel. For now diesel engines are still the best for daily driving and long trips. Better to save money and buy a cheap diesel, then you can have a proper car for the weekends.
How can you visit the Saarland and not getting a Fleischkäsweck from Globus? Foodshot 7/10 but minuspoints because of missed Globus foodshot, so 1/10
That doggo at 6:01 was being sassy af hahaha
Buy a M3P, terrible breaks but charging is easy.
Can u do a Vmax on etron
Good video
RIMAC ON NURBURGRINGGGGGG
Sory Misha .. Tesla plaid 860km range is solution . i seem to really hate audi.
Thanks for the insight on EV use. Your videos are always informative and entertaining.
Thanks for providing EV insights and thoughts. I think there will be a lot to think about for the future.
Hydrogen electric should be fine... if only there were more filling stations...
Do you listen to techno? 👌
Do you eat also more with a electric car ????
The thing that bothers me with with EV's is the amount of charging required along the journey because I'll get so fat from eating at every stop.
@Kyle B For most people it is fine. If you know you drive a lot or make trips you should just buy a petrol or plug in hybrid
@MauriceNL its still 20+ minutes with a fast charger, that's enough time to get a decent size meal from a fast food store, nothing beats a sub-minute fuel-up and dash
You know in this video he used very slow chargers
Uses EV to take part that you don't get on an EV to person to fix it :)
9:40 for the etron ad :)
Charging to 100% overnight is the name of the game for longer trips for sure, but that's not practical for some people. Higher charging power also saves a fair bit of time (Tesla Superchargers go up to 250 kW) but long trips do get frustrating if you weren't already stopping to eat or some shit somewhere where you can charge. If you're not doing long trips driving many hours a day that often however, not paying for gas feels really nice and makes it possible to drive places you otherwise wouldn't bother with due to cost (gas is about €1.5 per liter/$6.70 per gallon in Sweden)
Regards charging the eTron - I listened to a podcast who had an interview with the guy who had just broken the EV record across the USA (in a Taycan), he broke his trip down into 160km sections the theory being the charge is very fast until 60% (or there about) there after it slows right down. So charge little but often seems to be the way to do it.
Macdonald's do sell lettuce and water you know?. It wouldn't be that gay really.... Ok it would.. but relatively less so. 🕳️
Still waiting for Johnny Tran to appear, guns blazing...
Hi Misha.. and greetings to the Apex gang 👍🙂👍 Talking about EV's, I'll share comment I left on Shmee video awhile back about his Porsche EV... If EV's are the future of motoring how will they supply thWorlds DEMAND for electric energy to charge these vehicles?.. Shutdown/close all coal & oil fired Electric power stations and rely on Sola power & Wind turbines?? Or dam up more rivers & lakes to build Hydro Electric Power stations??? The concept of EV's taking over the motoring world to the demise of petrol/diesel powered vehicles is just a FARCE! it's a JOKE far as I'm concerned!! ...Nuff said LOVE Ya Work bro Godbless, ava gday 🙂
Power demand is not problem at all with existing system, where most of power comes from nuclear plants. Anyway. Who gives shit about ecology. Space to improvement is why EVs are future.
EV yea!! :), if you don´t have a life ;)...or much spare time! :)
That car is an expensive dumpster fire
Evening Misha yep electric vehicles aren’t quite there yet, long live tractors
💪🏻👌🏻
Wow, no dislikes so far... Impressive! (Plis this is a joke don't take it seriously)
how do you write it carmrades or comrades? or it is just because of cars, isn't it?
I had a Tesla P85d 4 years ago and I had all them range problems. When I sold it the journey to the dealer took me over 9 hours with stopping for charging. On the way home with the new petrol powered beast it took 5 with one stop to fill up! Local driving and as a traffic light racer they are great apart from that 💩 great vid as always.👌🏻🤟🏻
Already last year, after 3 longer trips in our new BEV, I concluded: never ever again that I will go on >200km trip with the BEV. It is just not working. Even if high power charging expands, it will never match the convenience of driving 500km at very high speeds, then stopping for 5, max 10 min, getting coffee, toilet break AND fuel for another 500 high speed km:s...
Has springtime arrived already ?
Of course a member of Tier 1 media would rather take the e-Tron. Check out more Doug DeMuro who is on a rant about BMW including Boomers and ugly grills.
Manufacturer spend millions on developing the navigation system while all I need is apple carplay
Misha please try to find out some more of the Volvo V70
it's an 855, but i agree with you.
Who made the fanimold?
Nice
NOSSS
Volvo is so cool
It was nice seeing you in jimmy Broadbent's comment section do you sim race?
